Artists at Heart is a mother-daughter partnership located in the Lehigh Valley. In 2011, they began selling their hand-crafted pottery and jewelry at local festivals, shows and specialty shops. Since then, they have developed a variety of products, including custom lines of Celtic themed jewelry and pottery.

Artists at Heart has an exciting and innovative line of jewelry called Interchainables that they created and developed. Interchainables necklaces come in two pieces, one of which is a chain, available in different lengths, to change the length of the necklace.

Their pottery is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe – so it is practical as well as beautiful.

Artists at Heart also sells beautiful wood trivets made locally by their friend, Charlie.

Artists at Heart has regular festival appearances in: Bethlehem, PA; Dublin, OH; Wildwood, NJ; Cleveland, OH; Shawnee, PA; and Pittsburgh, PA.

Meet Virginia, Mary & Charlie

Virginia: One of the things I love most about being a potter is the endless possibilities that clay has to offer. Being a potter is a never-ending learning experience - whether it is working with new glazes or mastering a new throwing technique. My focus is on functional dining, drinking, and serving ware and experimenting with fiber clays. I hope that some of the joy I feel when creating pottery is shared by people who use it.

Mary: My interest in beading began through my appreciation for the beauty of the natural stones that I would pick up on my trips out west. As they accumulated, I decided I needed to figure out something to do with them. I really got hooked after a few beading classes and prefer to work with semi-precious gemstones for their natural beauty and luster. I enjoy sharing my appreciation for nature’s beautiful stones with others.

Charlie: My interest in woodworking began when I was a young boy, helping my father in his woodshop. Now that I am retired, I enjoy making things out of wood for my own relaxation and enjoyment. I love to create things from wood that are both decorative and useful.
